Valentina Perissi

Valentina Perissi is an Italian-born fashion entrepreneur and creative director based in New York City. Her career began in Florence, where she was inspired by artisans and traditional craftsmanship, later working with iconic fashion houses such as Roberto Cavalli. Valentina is the founder of DAFNE Italy, a brand that embodies art, fashion,  authenticity, transformation, and feminine power through timeless design, sustainability, and social responsibility.

Beyond her creative work, Valentina is deeply committed to women’s empowerment and community impact. She collaborates with local artisans and immigrant women, blending fashion and philanthropy to promote purpose-driven luxury. Through her involvement in CaringKind’s 100 Women of Impact initiative, Valentina continues to champion awareness and compassion for brain health — a cause that resonates deeply with her belief in mindful living, emotional intelligence, and collective care.

Why brain health matters to me:

Brain health has always been close to my heart. My grandmother was diagnosed with a brain tumor, and witnessing her journey made me deeply aware of how delicate — and powerful — our minds are. I’ve also experienced moments of vertigo and imbalance myself, which made me even more curious about how little we truly understand the brain and its connection to our emotions, creativity, and overall well-being. Supporting brain health means nurturing the essence of who we are — our memories, our dreams, and our ability to connect with others.

About Nominations
100 Women of Impact is a curated national movement with a limited number of seats. Nominations are welcomed and encouraged; however, submission of a nomination does not guarantee acceptance into the movement.

All nominations are reviewed thoughtfully through a vetting process that considers alignment with the mission, values, and leadership posture of 100 Women of Impact, as well as current capacity. Because this is an intentionally curated movement, not all nominees will be invited to join. We are grateful for every nomination and for the care taken in putting names forward.
