I am the Founder and CEO of Cura Home Care Services, a boutique home care agency dedicated to helping older adults live safely, independently, and with purpose in the place they call home. As a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), I have spent more than two decades serving older adults and their families, first as a senior case manager and now as the leader of an organization built on compassionate, personalized care.

At Cura, I believe that home care is about far more than assistance with daily tasks. It is about preserving autonomy, honoring each person’s story, and giving families the confidence and peace of mind to enjoy their loved one rather than simply care for them.

Community leadership has always been central to my work. I am honored to be serving my second consecutive term as President of the Rotary Club of Stamford, where I lead service initiatives and cultivate partnerships that strengthen our community. I also serve on the Steering Committee of the Ferguson Library and volunteer with The Palace Theatre, organizations that reflect my commitment to enriching the lives of people of all ages.

As a member of 100 Women of Impact, I am proud to stand alongside women advancing brain health, supporting caregivers, and creating stronger, more compassionate communities. I believe meaningful change happens when healthcare, community organizations, and compassionate leaders work together to ensure every older adult has the opportunity to age with dignity, purpose, and connection.

About Nominations
100 Women of Impact is a curated national movement with a limited number of seats. Nominations are welcomed and encouraged; however, submission of a nomination does not guarantee acceptance into the movement.

All nominations are reviewed thoughtfully through a vetting process that considers alignment with the mission, values, and leadership posture of 100 Women of Impact, as well as current capacity. Because this is an intentionally curated movement, not all nominees will be invited to join. We are grateful for every nomination and for the care taken in putting names forward.
