Loren is a mom of three, educator, and social worker with nearly two decades of experience supporting children and families. After graduating from Washington University in St. Louis, she began her career with Teach For America and later earned master’s degrees in both Education and Social Work from Columbia University.
Throughout her career, Loren has taught in classrooms, developed therapeutic programs for children, created resources and workshops for families, and served as a key liaison for parents of students with disabilities at the New York City Department of Education.
Inspired by her own journey into parenthood and a desire to strengthen support and connection for families during the early years, Loren founded ZenHippo in 2022. What began as a small community program in Palm Beach, hosted in the area’s historic landmarks and native green spaces, has grown into a thriving hub for young families. In 2025, ZenHippo opened its first brick-and-mortar location in West Palm Beach, featuring family programming alongside a thoughtfully curated sustainable toy and book shop.
Through classes, parent education, and community-building experiences, ZenHippo helps families learn, grow, and thrive together. Loren is passionate about creating meaningful opportunities for play, learning, and connection while helping parents feel supported and empowered in their caregiving journey.
