Julie Wexler, MPA 

Julie Wexler’s career in elder care spans more than three decades, rooted in a deep commitment to the safety, dignity, and quality of life of older adults.  Her journey began in a community based senior center, where her early work with aging populations shaped a professional philosophy she carries to this day. 

Over the years, Julie has built expertise across a range of elder care settings, including adult day programs and senior living communities. She is widely recognized for her dedication to community education and family support – particularly her ability to connect families navigating the complexities of Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias with the resources they need. 

For the past 13 years, Julie has been a valued member of The Bristal Assisted Living, where she currently serves the organizations memory care community in Lake Success, NY.  In this role, she supports individuals living with dementia and their families to ensure thoughtful, compassionate transitions into memory care assisted living – work she considers both a privilege and a calling.
