Jessica Delwadia is a healthcare executive, community leader, and advocate for women whose career reflects a commitment to expanding access to exceptional care and creating meaningful impact for patients and families.
As Vice President of Managed Care at Vanderbilt University Medical Center (VUMC), Jessica leads managed care contracting across the VUMC enterprise and helps cultivate strategic relationships with key payer partners. Working at the intersection of healthcare strategy, finance, and patient access, she plays an important role in developing partnerships and reimbursement strategies that support VUMC’s ability to deliver highly specialized, world-class care.
Jessica has built her career navigating some of healthcare’s most complex challenges, from major payer negotiations and innovative reimbursement models to improving coverage and access for emerging therapies. Recognized for her expertise and perspective on the evolving healthcare landscape, Jessica is also a frequent invited presenter at industry events and national conferences, where she shares insights on healthcare economics, payer-provider relationships, managed care strategy, and the future of healthcare access.
Yet she has never lost sight of the people behind those decisions. Jessica believes every contract, partnership, and strategy ultimately affects a patient or family depending on the healthcare system at a critical moment in their lives.
Beyond her executive leadership, Jessica is passionate about developing and empowering others. She is a dedicated mentor and advocate for women in healthcare, encouraging emerging leaders to find their voices, embrace opportunity, and lead with confidence and authenticity.
A wife, mother of two, and active member of the Nashville community, Jessica believes leadership carries a responsibility to serve beyond the workplace. That belief closely aligns with 100 Women of Impact and its mission to bring influential women together to advance brain health, compassionate care, access, and support for families.
For Jessica, impact is not measured solely by professional achievement. It is measured by the people we empower, the opportunities we create, and the communities we leave stronger for the next generation.
