Back to Palm Beach

Gale Brophy is an entrepreneur and philanthropist with a distinguished background as a former Wall Street bond trader, horse breeder, and businesswoman. She owns Estates by Brophy, luxury vacation resorts along the Upper Delaware River in New York’s Catskills. Her business acumen— shaped by her equestrian work as co-owner of 1991 Kentucky Derby-winning champion Strike the Gold—has now extended into the creation of Strike the Gold Caviar, a tribute to horseracing—the Sport of Kings.

Known and respected in Palm Beach and New York, Gale has led philanthropic efforts for decades, supporting hundreds of charitable organizations and fundraising initiatives for those in need. Featured as a breakout star on Netflix’s 2026 series Members Only Palm Beach, she continues to inspire through business leadership, generosity, and a mission centered on improving the well-being of others—guided by her motto: “Let your heart be open and never forget where you came from in order to help others.”
