Since December 2025, Emily has been building her career in commercial real estate, working in Facilities Management in SoHo, New York City. First introduced to the industry through CaringKind, she quickly developed an interest in the dynamic world of commercial real estate and is eager to continue learning, growing, and finding her niche within the field.

Alzheimer’s awareness has been a longstanding part of Emily’s family story. Growing up, she heard stories about her grandparents’ experiences with the disease and witnessed the lasting impact their diagnoses had on her parents and family. Years later, her uncle, Frank, was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s at a young age and experienced an extraordinarily rapid decline. Watching his journey firsthand gave Emily a deeper understanding of the realities families face when navigating this disease, especially when they are unprepared, under-informed, or unsure where to turn. His experience reinforced for her that Alzheimer’s does not affect only the individual diagnosed; it reshapes entire families and communities. For Emily, raising awareness is therefore about more than finding a cure. It is about education, preparation, support, and making sure families never have to feel alone in the process.

Emily is especially passionate about engaging younger generations in philanthropy and challenging the idea that giving back has to mean writing a large check, dedicating countless hours, or waiting until later in life to get involved. She believes philanthropy should be accessible, social, creative, and, most importantly, fun. With an entrepreneurial and forward-thinking approach, Emily hopes to help reshape the philanthropic landscape for a new generation, making it easier and more exciting for young people to find causes they care about, get involved, and build a lifelong culture of giving. She is committed to making waves, creating community, and proving that philanthropy doesn’t have to be complicated or exclusive to be impactful!
