Her leadership is grounded in a clear conviction: lasting change happens when care systems are redesigned early, inclusively, and at scale.
Global Leadership & the Brain Economy
Eleonora’s work and vision have been presented on the global stage, including at the World Economic Forum, where she has contributed to advancing the Brain Economy positioning brain health not only as a medical imperative, but as a social, economic, and community-wide priority.
Transformational Impact in Alzheimer’s Care
Over the last 14 years, under Eleonora’s leadership, organizations she has led have raised more than $108 million to advance Alzheimer’s support services, education, and research fueling innovation, expanding access to care, and accelerating progress across the field.
As former President & CEO of the Alzheimer’s Association Connecticut Chapter, Eleonora led the organization for 7.5 years, more than doubling revenue, expanding statewide dementia education, and partnering with the Department of Labor to deliver dementia training to 140+ facilities. Her tenure strengthened both the scale and sustainability of dementia care infrastructure across the state.
A pioneer in early-stage intervention, Eleonora helped launch a statewide early-stage support model, securing critical funding and shifting the field toward earlier engagement, empowering individuals and families sooner, improving outcomes, and restoring dignity throughout the disease journey.
Shaping Policy, Standards & Leadership
Committed to elevating standards across the field, Eleonora served as Chair of the Connecticut Assisted Living Association (CALA), where she developed a comprehensive Executive Director curriculum adopted statewide. She also represented CALA for seven years on a Connecticut Department of Public Health committee, influencing regulatory improvements and contributing to the Institute of Senior Living Education.
Her influence has been consistently recognized through her inclusion on the City & State Health Care Power 100 list for four consecutive years, honoring leaders driving meaningful change across the health care ecosystem.
