As a Registered Nurse with nearly 20 years in geriatric care, I’ve witnessed both the beauty and the heartbreak of aging — moments of deep connection, and moments where memory and identity begin to fade. My work has taken me into the homes, hearts, and lives of older adults and their families, where I’ve seen how compassion, education, and advocacy can change the trajectory of care.

Joining 100 Women of Impact reflects my belief that brain health is a human right — that every person deserves the chance to age with dignity, purpose, and connection. Together, we can transform awareness into action, and ensure no one faces the challenges of Alzheimer’s or dementia alone.

About Nominations
100 Women of Impact is a curated national movement with a limited number of seats. Nominations are welcomed and encouraged; however, submission of a nomination does not guarantee acceptance into the movement.

All nominations are reviewed thoughtfully through a vetting process that considers alignment with the mission, values, and leadership posture of 100 Women of Impact, as well as current capacity. Because this is an intentionally curated movement, not all nominees will be invited to join. We are grateful for every nomination and for the care taken in putting names forward.
